Complete the Circle Event and FoodRaiser
Thank You for Being Part of Complete the Circle!
Sunday, November 8, 2015
Fairfax High School
This year, we were honored to join with Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC) to create this fun and meaningful Art for the Sky photo that was encircled with your generous food donations. Complete the Circle is an inspirational community event to raise awareness and take a stand against hunger and need in the Fairfax County area. The image speaks to our goal of empowering our neighbors who are struggling to move from a place of need to financial self-sufficiency. Thanks to YOUR support, we raised 11,143 pounds of food and pantry supplies (more than $19,000 worth!) and $3,050 in grocery gift cards and cash donations to help our struggling neighbors.
Our Daily Bread and Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC) proudly present Complete the Circle FoodRaiser 2015! Part community service project, part family festival, part public art event and ALL FUN, please make plans to share in this meaningful and creative afternoon to highlight hunger and need in our midst and make a real difference for those who are struggling. On any given day in the Fairfax County area, approximately 67,000 people – many of them children – do not know if they will eat. At Complete the Circle, donations you bring that day will be part of the "living" Art for the Sky photo we join together to create.
Be a part of this wonderful event by bringing yourself, family and friends, or organizing a team of coworkers, scout or youth group members, fellow church congregants or any other type of organization. Register your team by October 9 to be listed on our fun event T-shirt that will color the Art for the Sky photo!
